Hard mode no Twilight Princess, Final Fantasy VII Remake or Starcraft II.

I was browsing Green Man Gaming one day, then did a double taking when I saw Octopath Traveler II listed, a apparent surprise sequel to one of the better recent Retro JRPGs, before its official reveal. It did get put up later.

Dragon Quest HD-2D Trilogy - So excited. Looks incrdible.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Holy shit even with one of the first games voice actors (Melia's) accidently revealing its existence a few years prior, that was a nice surprise.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition - Breath of the Wild was one of the reasons I got a Switch.
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Editon, along with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Fire Emblem Three Houses were the other reasons. Some of the best games I've ever played. Xenoblade Chronicles Remake literally improves and fixes every flaw of the orignal version and
I hope Xenoblade Chronicles 2 gets a Definitive Edition as amazing as 1.

Hogwarts Legacy - There were leaks and rumors, but holy shit the final game eneded up incredible looking. I really hope the Fall patch will be fixing some of the very fixable issues with the game, like no quidditch.

Star Ocean VI: The Divine Force is very much on a budget, though it has its charm. It also had enough positive reception to get Star Ocean: The Second Story R greenlit and released, which was one of my most wanted JRPG remasters ever.

NEO: The World Ends with You - After that time they hinted a sequel to World Ends with You, only for it to be a countdown to nothing lol. Nice to see an actual sequel to one of the best DS JRPGs.

I'd even say AITD 2024.

I personally hate it when there's some kind of singing, same goes for Go Tell Aunt Rhodie in RE7, so the beginning of the trailer had me cringing a bit. But the film noir vibe had me really excited. Didn't expect it to be AITD. It gave me Angel Heart vibes, awesome horror/noir from the 1980s. Really twisted film and I'm pretty sure the devs were partially inspired by it. I think I read that somewhere.

Mario Party Jamboree

Came out of nowhere. I thought for sure that the next Mario Party would be a Spring 2025 release at the very earliest. What's even more surprising is that it's going to have two outstanding retro boards included to mix with the five new boards in the game

from what i understand about the quidditch they did have a prototype version of it running but it wasnt very good and they could not lock down an enjoyable experience so they shelved it for either dlc or the sequel
