Welcome to Round 1, Match #14 of the Best Cult Classic Games tournament!

Tonight, we have a Ubisoft first-person shooter going up against an Electronic Arts action-adventurer. Though they may be forgotten, D-Pad's will has resurrected them for a duel of the ages! Which game would you "Get over here!" to play? Which game would you let freeze in sub-zero temperatures?

The Saboteur is an unfinished game. Stealth doesn't function at all even though game pretends that it does and everything is janky as hell. It's a cool idea of a game, but it's not fun to play. XIII is great.

I've not played The Saboteur. I've completed XIII once and tried the multiplayer and it seemed decent enough but it's been a while.
 
I've played neither of these titles but I must say the concept of the Saboteur always interested me. And can we add the developer Pandemic Studios being offed as another reason to EA? Like fuck man, the studio that made the original Star Wars Battlefront games? Fuck EA.
 
I really like the black-and-white mechanic of The Saboteur and the color slowly returning the more you liberate Paris. I think with some more time in the oven the game would have been better received.

The classic version is on a Steam sale right now for $1.50. You will probably need to download a fix (should find a link to it somewhere on the game's discussion page) for a bug on the first level.

Fuck this is tough. Why you do me like that Wei Shen?! I'm picking The Saboteur because that game is great in every way possible

It was close. XIII was even in the lead for a little while but it is The Saboteur that moves onto Round 2.
