This game looks very fun to play but I don't know if I can bear the storyline. 1 was fine. 2 was cringe. This looks completely awful.

I completely agree with you.

Also there's a lot of pink/blue hair/lips in there... I think the overly long dev cycle is showing. Too many people probably had a voice in decisions.

BUT yeah the gameplay looks awesome.

W101 is amazing. I get what you mean though, they made Babylon's fall, and cheap licensed games like Korra, TMNT etc. Madworld on wii was cool but then they made Anarchy reigns.

Imma keep my pre order for bay 3, i've been too hyped for too long and tbh both the prior 2 games are equally cringe, minus the characters looks here in 3.

After this I have 0 faith in Platinum, not with Tencent buying into it and their recent mega fail Babylon's fall.

@Chozofication well said. Bayo 3 could still be good, I'll reserve final judgment until the game is out and after experienced players have dug into the combat systems (I'm a dullard who likes to learn some of that stuff via YouTube and community sites).

but hey, at least we got 60fps ports of my two favorite Platinum games (W101 and Vanquish) before they possibly fizzle into oblivion. There have been plenty of videogame companies with worse arcs. The talent in the company will find new homes.

The original Bayonetta is one of my all-time favorites. I still need to get to the sequel. It's been in my backlog forever. Hopefully the series will end up being a classic trilogy when all is said and done.

Well I'm not saying it's a lot of work but at the same time I would have thought it was more than that. I have no idea how much these people make.

If she can find easy work throughout the year sure 4000 is no problem imo.

But that's true about AI.

They replace her with Jennifer Hale of Mass Effect Shepard and Samus Metroid Prime. A lot more games to name. Also would be more expensive to hire! Which doesn't seem to add up!

Also calling for boycott and basically attacking the new VA seem vindictive.

Not to mention all the woe as me victimhood points she was spouting to gain sympathy!

Without context its hard to tell. She records a couple of voice lines. It could be like 10-20 hours of work. ITs not like she is doing a live action movie and has to be on set. She probably could even record at home and send the MP4 file over the net. If it took her 10 hours to read the lines, for 4K thats not bad. And keep in mind its Platinum games here. These guys had to crowdfund to release the Wonderful 101. Its not like this is Activision or Guerilla Games.

Now of course if the going rate for voice actors in AA mid-tier budget games is 40K or something than ya there kind of dicks. But you gotta save money somewhere and seems like the voice acting is one of those places. Its like those straight to video sequels.

In the video she says Platinum/Nintendo didn't break the law! I'm guessing at they offered her the minimum to average pay? She felt slight for the low offer obviously!

Someone on Gaf posted pay scale and the 4K comes out to 2 days of work. Which is also same amount she each did for Bayonetta 1 and 2.

I've been waiting for this game since the Switched launched but the story does look pretty cringe so far, hopefully the game play makes up for that.
Will probably pick it up at some point when it's on-sale..:ROFLMAO:.
