I always buy Battlefield games and play them casually until the next one releases. I always like being able to fire up a large shooter like this at random times and play a few matches. There's been a gap for me in that department since BFV ended up being a bad game. I hope they can get back on track with this one.

The best of its kind. So casual and fun with no SBMM bollocks

Even with everyone disappointed with BFV, I'm still enjoying it

No large scale shooter will ever beat BF to me honestly. I just want us to move on from this whole WW shit cause the guns are boring

That was my biggest gripe with BFV. I'm just tired of the WW2 setting. The content release schedule they had was also garbage. And I thought Operations were better in BF1.

100% agreed. Treating the game as service doesn't suit BF at all. Hopefully they learned their lesson

Them saying that this is going to be the biggest BF to date is making me optimistic

BF chaotic spawn anywhere gameplay is tiresome. Give me a BF1 style campaign.

I hate DICE and I hated Battlefield V but fuck me I have a sweet spot for modern warfare.

I hope it ends up like War Thunders April Fools Day 2077 event.

Tanks with invisible camoflauge, guided ammunition and mortars. Active protection and insane zoom optics. Unmanned jets. Lasers

I'm looking forward to seeing this - the past year in lockdown playing Warzone with friends has gotten us all well into mil-sims again. A decent Battlefield BR game with aggressive anti-cheat functionality would probably be the competition Activision needs to put a bit more polish into their product as well.

Hopefully they don't torpedo the launch with performative wokeness again this time though.
