- Michael Voss has covid. He'll be missing next week's game. Two members of Carlton's football department and Jack Martin have to isolate.

- Tom Morris has been sacked from Fox Footy for saying naughty things. Liquor license revoked.

They looked good last night. Richmond were slick in the first quarter and looked like the Tigers of old but Carlton fought back strongly.

The Blues should be in the mix for the lower part of the top 8.

It was an exciting game. We'll keep a lid on it, but it's nice to get a win in round 1.

I know he was picking up cheapies off half back, but was happy with Nick Daicos' first game. 102 points in Fantasy, 99 in Supercoach.

Yeah the Cats just keep going. They might not win the flag but they are always up there with a chance.
 
That was an enjoyable first round of football.

That was a decent win for Gold Coast. Even though West Coast had half their side out, GC don't win away from home very often so that should give them some confidence.
 
An exciting first quarter of footy. Carlton look good, the Doggies are still in it.

Whatever issues Cripps had the past couple of seasons seems to be gone.

The season's first 2 games are on right now. Dogs Vs Swans (30 each at 1/2 time) & Blues/Lions (Blues 10 points up halfway through the second).

Someone ran into Zach Tuohy and dropped his wallet, Zach picked it up and then went and found him to give it back.

 
And now it's over and people are coming back.

LOL they just announced it was a false alarm. The crowd booed.

First loss was always gonna come, jus would have preferred not like this. Boys play well, love what I'm seeing. As fitness improves fadeouts like this will go away. Also, the young blokes may have thought the game was won. In a sense, Geelong gave them a fantastic lesson.
