His source is Ubisoft. :ROFLMAO:

You are a moron.

I can't decide if you're really this stupid, or just trolling.

"Typical DPad, falling for youtube ragebaiters. If you really want an unbiased opinion on what's going on with Ubisoft, we need to ask Ubisoft".

The video is about a Ubisoft's guy words being misquoted and spread all over by retards like you. DonDon asked about the source and I gave the link to original interview from where misquote comes from.

Can you comprehend it now?

Yeah, that sounds about right for Ubisoft.

I think they know it isn't going to do good and keep pushing back the bad news. Just release it and get it over with at this point. They can't change the game enough to save it anymore. They spent too much time doubling down on the fake black samurai storyline.

Wow, I thought this game had already launched and failed lol

I had no idea it was going through these delays. I guess it's on C.P.T now. If you know, you know lol

Plenty of companies have shelved games they spent a ton of money on. Wouldn't be the first.

Maybe f2p games where they expect to spend even more after launch. This is a 99% finished single player game. It's guaranteed to sell decent because it's AC.

I'm still absolutely floored by the fact that Ubisoft fell hook line and sinker for a historical fraud perpetrated by one man in grand fashion. If they'd included Yasuke as an NPC and had him feature as a Samurai, that might have been somewhat acceptable, but to break their own tried and tested approach of AC characters being wholly fictive creations operating in the shadows engaging with historical figures beggars belief, even more so given how the idea that playing such an obvious outlier seems entirely antithetical to the very conceit of the game. Although thinking about it inadvertently they have come up with a fictive character.

To be fair, Lockley deceived hundreds of thousands of people with his bs.

That said, I think Ubisoft knew it was all nonsense, and they thought it would fly over the heads of the unwashed gamer masses.

I think it's perhaps more a case of no one (not even his publishers) bothering to validate his claims. I'm shocked that no one called him out beforehand.

The game started development in 2020. However, there was probably an incubation period beforehand of maybe 6 months just in terms of coming up with ideas (right amid the Pandemic, plus BLM and George Floyd) and way before the woke backlash happened, so I dare say Ubisoft saw Yasuke as this Golden ticket winning formula at the time of being both a seemingly interesting historical noodle and an opportunity for some right on virtue signalling.
