I mean, in the words of President Biden, "c'mon man!" There's a void of dungeon delving immersive RPGs. There's nothing else really like Arx Fatalis other than Ultima Underworld. A sequel, prequel or "set in the same universe" aka Avowed (which will be set in the Pillars of Eternity universe) would be an welcome addition.
If you haven't played Arx Fatalis, do yourself a favor. It feels like Ultima Underworld meets Morrowind.
