This is a very item-heavy Metroidvania clone that focuses more on exploration and puzzle-solving than combat, though there are ways to get rid of enemies. All versions are 60FPS with the Switch version taking a bit of a graphical hit to maintain the framerate.

I'm a big fan of Rain World (criminally underrated and overlooked) and this looks really similar. Reviews so far seem good.

Yeah I remember when he announced his new publishing company and some folks were skeptical (me included). Seems like his instincts on this game were spot on.

Hope to see him and other gaming celebs invest their money back into the hobby like this.

Animal Well is one of the most horribly designed metroidvania games I've ever had the misfortune of playing.

I only saw positive things said when the game came out and the art style looks amazing to me, but I'd definitely like to read more opinions from people who hate the game lol
