ITT, we discuss adult things like adults.

Got a hemorrhoid like adults often do?
No one's going to laugh or give you shit.

Want to discuss pregnancy and engorged breasts in a non-sexualized mature manner?
This is the place.

Want to exchange recipes for cobblers and casseroles without someone calling you a farnsgoth?
You're home, buddy.

Consider this the adult safe space. No shitposting, shenanigans or tomfoolery allowed. I fucking mean it.

This is the second time I've seen you creating a safe space. You aren't safe here.
Speak for yourself.

Every forum needs a jester.

  • GAF had Cunth. (and Brap)

You know that if you want to say some crazy things you need to put effort in them.

My back is aching a lot lately

I'm 6' 4" and around 205 pounds which isn't far off my athletic size in my younger years (195). Find myself with aching lower back every morning plus knees too.

Can't dunk like I use too, my B-ball dribble is off. Fucking sucks. Went to my doctor and he said it could be the beginning of Sciatica. Recommended I lose the 10 pounds and get a better chair to sit on.

If you aren't already, see a physio. Have dealt with back issues since my early 20's and was of healthy weight and in relatively good shape.

Had a bad "attack" of sciatica this year and had continual pain in my left leg. Doc's gave me strong painkillers, muscle relaxants and anti inflammatory meds. 2 months was on that regimen with no real improvement.

Couple of physio visits, could feel the improvement.

Don't mess around with your back guys, debilitating back pain fucking blows.

Had back pain starting two years ago. Went to a physio last year, and that got rid of the worst stuff so I could atart skateboarding again.

But after a certain age it's a constant battle.

There are times when I am literally pain free, and there are times when I can barely stand up in the morning.

I'm d incredibly thankful not to have a bad back.

I'm 6'6", and do gardening, DIY and nerdy tabletop wargaming, all of which means I can spend hours hunched over or being to get/lift things, but so far never so much as a twinge. It helps I've always tried to sit up straight for work and lift with my legs, but I've known soamy other tall blokes with bad backs that I feel I can never be paranoid enough about it.

It's coming.

I recommend strengthening exercises (for your whole body, not just your back). I've had a bad back since my late teens due to a weightlifting injury, and a couple years ago it suddenly got a lot worse (like, trouble walking, falling down when leaning forward, etc.). I thought it was the beginning of the end for me, tbh. But, after a few months of light weights, slowly increased over time, my back problems have pretty much gone back to what they were in my 20s, which is to say it still goes out every few months, but I no longer have to worry about face-planting when leaning forward to pick up a piece of paper.

I have been taking Metamucil for like a month just because I get worried if my shits aren't perfect, thick logs every time. My dad dealt with diverticulitis and I do not want that happening to me.

So now I feel like one of those old grandpas always concentrating on "BMs."
Man, I've been eating a lot of low-fat dairy and vegetables over the past few years and my shits have gotten to truly massive proportions. Also, I hit the head at least once a day, but sometimes up to three times a day. And we're talking some real pipe bursters here. When I ate lots of meat and junk food in my 30s, I swear I'd only shit once every other day.

Having problems with my back too. Ten years ago got a trauma while digging a pit at my summer house, spinal disk protrusion. Was lying at home for about one month - could not sit, just lie or stay (was playing Fallout NV all that time). Went to a doctor, got a couple of epidular injections, felt better. But I can't stay at one place for longer than 10-15 minutes now, need to sit or walk. It's weird, because I can walk for hours without an issue.
