Thread: Actors you can't stand.
Robert Downey Jr. I liked a few of his movies (Sherlock, Iron Man 1) but what REALLY soured me on him was his Joe Rogan episode. Dude is 100% a fraud. He tries to come off as the nicest friendliest guy you ever met, but I can sense a grave sickness just peeking from under his mask. The problem is, I can't really pinpoint what it is exactly that makes me hate him, since I'd need to watch that episode again to find it.

Idk, he stayed loyal to Mel Gibson when he is "persona non grata" in Hollywood, can't be a complete phony. That JRE episode was weird, I'll give you that though, if only for how bland and uninteresting it was, plus the movie he was promoting then was dogshit.

I mean look at this bitch... this is the kind of crap that pisses me off. She goes to sit down in the first chair available and they try to see something spiritual about it. Bitch was just sitting down.... It's like that her whole career... she did a Ted Talk once and didn't have a single smart thing to say... It's like the emperors new clothes with her. They see what they want to see.

I think the main thing is he kind of mumbles through everything. I just always feel he is playing RDJ. It isn't a crime, it's just where is the differential.

The tragedy being that he has a huge range as an actor. Before he became the Marvel guy, he was one my fave actors.

Sean Penn - This is less about his acting and more to do with his offscreen antics. I absolutely loath this cunt's holier than thou and sanctimonious political takes on anything (especially on Venezuela). I already was never a big fan of him as an actor so his whole presence just repels me.

Chris Evans - I found him annoying before with his usual snarky performances, but then he played a really good Captain America and then I thought, "eh... he's not so bad." But then I began to hate him again for his shameless virtual signaling on social media. Can't stand him since.

Emma Watson - Used to find her incredibly hot, but then she became a braindead activist who wouldn't think twice in throwing under the bus the woman who made her career (JK Rowling). Also, time has begun to be unkind to her now that she's hit 30.

Seth Rogen - He's ugly as sin plus his laugh is annoying. The fact that he's a tool in real life is just an added bonus.

Kevin Smith, pretty sure he made 1 to 3 good movies in the 90's on accident and now his most entertaining work is crying on social media.

BATMAN WEARS A MASK!

Not over his mouth you dipshit.
OH YEAH. I absolutely can't stand Kevin Smith and his movies plus his shit fanboy takes. Anyone who's read his comicbook work should have realized what a disaster the Netflix Masters of the Universe would become under him.

Best part of all that was when the plot leaked, he trashed the leaker as a liar, then when the show came out and it was exactly what the leaker said he did the ol u-mad-bro

Makes me wonder how this idiot ever became a filmmaker in the first place despite being such a whiny twat. Remember how Smith used to bitch about Bruce Willis being mean to him on the set of Copland? Well, I'd be an ass like Willis too if the film's director was doing nothing but smoking pot onset 24/7.

He's a great actor in mafioso flicks but he's nothing special outside of that genre. Not a fan of his work, Scorsese is the one who deserves the praise if you ask me

I would give Raging Bull, Midnight Run, Heat, Cape Fear, and This Boys Life for non mob parts that were excellent. Unless you've seen these movies and still hate him lol.

For me, Jessie Eisenburg gets on my nerves. Jamie Fox I never liked. Jennifer Lawrence, Melanie Griffith.

I'll check those out some day. Liotta and Pesci ran circles around him in Goodfellas. De Niro typically plays the same incredulous prick in every mob flick that he got hired on for. His formula is basically act like a high roller briefly, problem presents itself, he can't believe it, cries and whines for a few min on screen until he decides what action to take, retaliate, rinse and repeat. Always with the complaining and crying with this guy. Where's the complexity in that? He's a great actor, just not a fan of his

Only one jumping to mind right now is Tom Holland. I just find him super irritating.
Still gotta watch those Spider-Man films. Anything is gonna be better than Spider-Man: Across the Telanovella-Verse. What does he do poorly in the films? Is it those typical corny one-liners all the Marvel super heroes now force into every situation they're in? Seems to be way overdone these days in that respect. Super heroes are more failed comedians than they are heroes in today's field of entertainment

The weird thing is, the only superhero I can remember who did this in the comics was actually Spiderman.
Seems everybody wants to act like him now.

What amuses me about Sean Penn is that he played three roles very similarly. Being a stoned out wasteland in Fasttimes, being mentally retarded in I Am Sam and being Harvey Milk.

I think it's fucking hilarious that they gave Penn the award for playing a gay rights activist the same way he played a mentally handicapped person.
