1-2-Switch, the Nintendo Switch mini-game collection, is reportedly getting a sequel.
That's according to previously reliable leaker Zippo, who posted on their blog this week claiming that a follow-up to the launch title is in development.
"1-2-Switch is one of the most dull, lifeless, forgettable games I have ever played, and yet, it's getting a sequel for some reason. It sold well, I think?" they wrote.
1-2-Switch was a minigame collection that highlighted the features of the joy-con controllers, including HD rumble. Minigames included things like shaking the controller to determine how many ice cubes were inside (as determined by rumble) and a wild west duel minigame.
The game was met with mixed to poor reviews, and its score currently sits at 58 on Metacritic.
Despite this, Nintendo sold 3.18 million copies of 1-2-Switch by the end of 2019, making it one of the best-selling games on the console at the time.
Insider Emily Rogers recently tweeted that she was "curious to see the critical reception to an upcoming casual game," adding: "I doubt this sequel will win over many new fans."
