Time stamped to skip Geralts model in the beginning because it's very bad, and Yens because nothing happens. Others a pretty good, especially the facial animations. Witcher characters in UE5.

Kind of off topic, but... I really wish we had some developers out there who were interested in really pushing the limits, catering to the high-end PC crowd, and saying fuck 'em to consoles and people with outdated or bargain hardware.

Me too. But development is expensive, getting the right people who can do it is expensive. In todays times, it's simply not financially feasible to only cater to a small target group. Risk of failure would be high as well.

Agreed, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

Edit: Or would it be my graphics peen?

Edit 2: Also, we seem to be seeing more and more solo/small devs pulling off some pretty impressive shit. Makes me wonder how much of what we hear about the cost is actually about cost or does a lot boil down to talent and scope (e.g., everything has to be open world)? I wouldn't mind having a smaller, more contained experience, that blew my socks off if it meant less time, money and manpower was required, and thus a much smaller ROI is needed.

They could charge a lot of money for the game. Like £250, and make it a super elite experience like the bugatti veyron. It pushed car technology but only a handful of people experienced it first hand. The creation of that car pushed technologies on all/most cars to a new limit.

lol that ending, haha it's great.

Animations obviously suck because it's just a tech demo by one dude, but the rest is pretty damn cool. I'd love to play a Nintendo developed Mario game with that visual quality. Nintendo doesn't seem to chase tech though, so no hopes for that in the near future.
